Expired Domain Names

I was adviced from Registerfly that my domain name falconblanco.com would expire and that I should renew by paying and move the domain to Registerfly. I paid and received payment confirmation and instuctions:
1) – Go to https://registerfly.com/whois/ and do a whois lookup on your name to the current registrar. Go to their website and request the AUTHORIZATION code of the domain name and ensure the name is unlocked. If the name is with ENOM.COM, request the login info of your account.
2) – Once you have the code, go to https://registerfly.com/transfer/status.php enter the code in the box next to the domain name and select the process button, next to it.
3) – You may receive an email from the losing registrar and also from US to approve the transfer once it is approved, it may take 1-2 business days for the name to transfer from the prior company to us.
I did all that. The problem is that at ENOM.COM my domain does not show, I can’t get the authorisation code. I’m stuck!
I tried for days and now my Web site doesn’t show up and also I can’t receive email. From the helpdesk of my host lunarpages I got the same instruction and it doesn’t work because at http://enom.com my domain doesn’t show up and there seems to be no way to connect with a person. I wrote several email, but without response.
I feel impotent and don’t know what to do. It is like asking for a working permission and they tell you that you can only get this if you are resident, but you only get the residence if you have working permission. I am desperate. Please help me. What can I do?
At Enom my domain doesn’t show up, I really tried every thing after loging in.
I went to eNom and did what you wrote. Loged in and searched for falconblanco.com and there was nothing found. I am sure I didn’t make any mistake. I will phone tomorrow morning, now it is too late.
I called eNOM and was surprised that I could talk with an operator, he seemed to be professional and was nice and calm, so that felt good and calmed down my esperation, beside he gave me detailed instruction what to do. Pretty complicate indeed but somehow I see clear now. Thank you both for your advice, I appreciate this ‘answers’ more and more…

Okay, so pretty much the most of this huge company/site’s trademarks are now dead/abandoned according to the registry.

They have 200+ million users, and are a HUGE site worldwide…so their name is valuable to them.

Would I be able to hire a patent/trademark lawyer, and ’steal’ these from them like a domain, since they expired? Then would I be able to sue the company for tons of money for continuing to use them?

I’m just curious how this would work legally.

It seems practical, and legal.

Their comp nay name expired last year, and most of their other 100 trademarked words just expired n January. Non have been re-registered yet.

I’m not actually going to do this. I’m just curious how it would work out if I did.
I actually do own a very similar site, which I could use to cover up my reason for the trademark?

I have a domain I want to register, however it is “parked”.. not being used

I went to whois to find more info about the owner of my domain, and it says

Record last updated on 30-Dec-2007.
Record expires on 10-Mar-2009.
Record created on 10-Mar-2007.

It is almost the end of Feb now — does this potentially mean that after march 10 I can register the domain? Should I wait and risk it? Or should I try contacting the hosting service to have them inquire about me buying the domain?

If it “expires”.. would it potentially automatically renew? Wold someone continue paying for this domain even though it is ONLY PARKED .. it is not being used at all.

my domain name is about to expire. is there a way to renew for free or cheap?

With all this chatter about Linda Hogan having a profile on RichSoulMate.com … has anyone bothered to look at who owns that domain? It’s called WHOIS information and, unless they’ve paid extra to hide their identity, it usually shows the owner info such as for that site. I have a domain name which i bought with GoDaddy. Now it is close to expiration. I have enabled the “auto-renew” option. So, it will automatically renew the domain name, and not let it expire.

But will it renew the domain name for 2 years or 1 year. The reason im asking this is because everywhere in GoDaddy, by default, 2 years is selected. That has made me confused. So, please help me out!

I had registered the domain name ntlb.net some time ago, I have forgotten the usernmae under which I had registered the domain name ntlb.net. I am trying to renew the domain name registration so it does not expire

I have a domain name that I bought a year of registration. I canceled my credit card and had no plans to renew the domain after the year was up. The registrar 1and1.com, did not expire the domain, sent the bill to collections, and now I’m getting harrassed by NCO financial. Doing a search for “1and1 nco” I find they do this a lot.

I always thought that subscriptions such as magazines, clubs, etc.. that I pay for in advance cannot go to collections.

I’ve been watching and waiting for this one domain to expire called “religionsucks.com” but I think its annual renewal is on auto-pilot and the owner doesn’t even seem to know it. I’m looking for ideas for a similar name.

The main concept of the site is to distinguish between true biblical christianity and religion. The secondary concept is to inform the reader that no religion gets people closer to God and that there is no one true “religion” (meaning people need Jesus Christ, not religion).

I’m hoping the site’s name will be similar to “religionsucks.com” and will have a shock value that compels people to check it out.

Ok, to answer some of your questions, a non-religious christian look like…well, like Jesus Christ. Most religious foke hated him because he didn’t follow their traditions.
