I was on holiday recently and stupidly allowed my domain name registration to expire. It has since been “bought” by a domain re-seller and they are asking for a minimum of $200 for it.
I have a replacement domain and the site is live again, however all the incoming links are pointed to the old domain name – any suggestions?

Okay, several years ago I registered the name www.romantiqueinteriors.com and it expired about a year ago. I never renewed it, and today I checked (which I do occasionally) it says coming soon.
If i register the name with the trademarks office, will I be able to get this name back? What should I do now?

First question, how do I find expired domain names or those ready to expire? It would be great if some of these expired domains have a very good name.
Second, how must does it cost to purchase a expired domain name? Example: Say Yahoo.com expired a week ago. I decided to purchase it- how much would it cost me?

When a domain expires, what happens next? Does it go into a pending deletion phase, and then is up for grabs?
I want a domain that expired June 16th of this year. Before contacting the former owner (who could capitalize on the fact that someone wants something he controls) I want to know how long until I could just register the domain directly.
Also, are there ways of getting on a waiting list, for when a domain becomes available?
Thanks in advance

If you forgot to renew a domain name, and it has expired, what is the best way to get it back? It currently is not publicly available, so I can’t renew it.

It’s easy to find out the name of a newly minted business or corporation – but how do I find out the details about “Newly Minted” Domain Names? Not just expired ones – But Brand New Ones?
Thanks.
