There is a domain that is about to expire next month. There is no active site and the email address is not responding. The name was registered nearly ten years ago.

What should I do to make sure that I get first in line to get that domain?

I would like to secure a specific domain name which will expire in about 3-4 months. (The owner of the domain just steals my traffic and uses it as a spam/adlink site.)

Which is the best/most secure way to buy this domain?

I registered 2 domain names with my previous web hosting company and am now planning to migrate to another new registrar, as well as a new hosting company.

The problem I’m facing now is that this hosting company is not cooperating to give me the AUTH Code for me to do the transfer. I had previously registered these 2 domains with this hosting company who is an Enom reseller.

My domain is expiring in 1 month’s time.

I have written many emails to this hosting company without success. Any suggestion what course of action I can take now? Can I take my case to enom?

My domain name is no longer active. I want to go with a new web hoster, but if I type in the name of the domain name I want (my old one that just expired), it says it is in use and gives my information to get in touch with me! My old web hoster (quality host online) still has my old domain name that no one is using. It is very hard to get in touch with this web hosting service. Hopefully this all made sense. What do I do? Umm, nevermind. Seems that both of my domain names are suddenly free. I guess there was a temporary hold after my agreement ended. Thank you all for your help!

Apparently my host sucks, they were supposed to transfer my domain to their service and never did. It expired, and many important emails from the last 5 days didnt get to me, is there any chance of ever seeing them again? I have alot of pissed off customers.
