I am not sure how this works legally. If someone were to buy a domain after it had expired and the renew period had ended and the original owner had not renewed could a competing business then legally forward traffic to their own site after buying the domain? In this case the domain is the name of the other business.
I checked with whois.com and saw that my domain name is already expired I don’t want to renew with my current registrar because they are overpriced, how come I can’t register/renew my domain name with other registrars if it is already expired?
Also is it possible to register my domain name with 1 company and have it hosted by another company?? because I want to go with the company that offers the cheapest domain name registration fees and those that offer the cheapest hosting fees
Is it possible to come up with my own domain name registration and web hosting site (not a reseller)
If I have intermediate knowledge in computer (I am not a computer programmer) – can I be a web host reseller? I understand the business concept but if technical problems arises I wouldn’t know how to solve it.
I want to buy a domain name which is due to expire in the next few days…whats the route i have to follow to buy it? do i have to wait untill it expires and re-listed onto the market? or do i have to email the current owner. The domain name i want to buy has been owned by previous owner for the past 5 years and never bothered putting a website up…i dont think he wants it anymore…and dont want to conact him incase he renews it and ask me for a crazy amount of money to buy it of him..please help.
I have a website with domain name sample domain1 which is well indexed by all major search engines . Now due to the poor service provided to me by my web hoster I have taken a domain named sample domain 2 under another web hoster . Sample domain 1 and sample domain 2 are identical in content ( not even the minute change ) . The question is if I add /change the heading of my website in my meta tags like this :— sample domain 1/sample domain 2 . WHAT WILL HAPPEN ? Will I be penalised ? Since I have paid the annual fee to the service provider of sample domain 1 , I would like the site to run there till it expires .Should I submit sample domain 2 to the search engines as well ? Sample domain 2 is now showing –the site does not exist .
Would be grateful for a good answer
