Hi, I have two websites hosted by two different web hosting company.

www.myWebsite1.com
www.myWebsite2.com (hosting plan expired)

The hosting plan of website2 is expired and since very few people go to that website, I didn’t renew it and would like to put all web pages in the same server with the website1. I also know that only the hosting plan for website2 has expired, its domain name has not expired yet.

My friend tells me to create a subdomain in website1 and put all pages in it, so users can go to website2 by entering

myWebsite2.myWebsite1.com

I tried and it works, but this url doesn’t look quite good, I want users to be totally unaware of this change, this means users will not see any myWebsite1.com wording in the address bar of the browser.

Is this possible, given that myWebsite2.com domain name can still be used?

If not, any suggestions for me?

Through my journalism program we opened an account at ixwebhosting and registered 2 domain names. They expired in december but i can renew the herchenrother.com one for free on the original account.

My goal for the domain to be controlled by Neil Herchenrother on a seperate account than the one we have on ixwebhosting. is it possible to transfer this if i renew it? When googled a company called e3auctions is auctioning it off but i have 75 days before they can truly sell it.
