pieceof_iron asked:

can i be sure that at this date my domain will expire?
in whois.com this text was displayed:
NOTICE: The expiration date displayed in this record is the date the registrar’s sponsorship of the domain name registration in the registry is currently set to expire. This date does not necessarily reflect the expiration date of the domain name registrant’s agreement with the sponsoring registrar. Users may consult the sponsoring registrar’s Whois database to view the registrar’s reported date of expiration for this registration.

blinik22 asked:

1. Is it safe to register my domain name with WebsitePalace.com? Have you have tried their services before? what can you say?

2. If the registration of a domain name expires – what happens to the domain name? What is domain name transfer? is it possible to transfer the domain name from current registrar to ANOTHER registrar even if it still within the subcription time?

I have an existing domain name with another registrar, but this current registrar don’t want to release the domain name so I can’t register it with another registrar what should I do?

If the domain name registration expires what will happen to the domain name? will I be able to use it? If expirty is the answer to getting my domain name back – how will I know that I can use the domain name again? where will I look to see that the domain name is available?

3. If I register my domain name with WebsitePalace.com will there be google ads appearing on my website?

4. What is private registration of domain name?

Is there a service that will buy domain names that are approaching expiration?

lvtechnoprincess asked:

there is a domain name that is going to run out in the near future and I know that there are a few other people who have their eye on the same domain name… I was wondering if there is a service out there that will keep an eye on that domain name and will aggressively go after the purchase of it once it expires under it’s current owner.

I happen to know that the current owner will not be renewing it because they are unfortunately no longer on this planet if you know what I mean. the site essentially has gone un-updated and could benefit from being revived…

I should also mention… the name of the site is not trademarked. the url is not a trademark either.

Lost a domain name. Is it legal?

RoundheadA7 asked:

A client of mine did not keep an eye on his domain name. It expired and within a couple days, some entity snapped it up. He’s a musician (not a big name, but trying) and needs it, and the domain was his name, so it’s not like this company can use it. They grabbed it so they could be there when he needed it back. I’ve heard of this happening…is it legal? I’m afraid his options are limited.

Gina asked:

I have browsed the question archives but I can’t seem to find an answer to my question…

Is there a way to find out WHEN a registered domain name expires?

I know how to find out if someone owns it, and who the owner is…But I can’t seem to find a site that tells you how long it is registered for.

I ask, because I have a specific domain that I want (it’s taken) and I want to backorder it in hopes of obtaining it when it expires…But if it is registered for another 10 years, I don’t want to waste my time or money doing so.

Thank you in advance!
