My great-grandfather copyrighted a musical composition in 1934.
He and his wife renewed the copyright after the 27 or 28 year period, in 1961. The copyright was also renewed in the name of their son (my grandfather). When my great-grandparents died, the copyright was therefore transferred to my grandfather.
According to what I’ve been able to find out, the copyright will expire 95 years after the publication date– therefore, in 2029. Is it possible for my grandfather to apply for an extension on that copyright, or will the work necessarily have to go in to the public domain in 2029?

Can someone experienced in parking domains help?

The problem: Low traffic to parked names. ** Is there a company out there that will send traffic to parked domains without violating T.O.S ** All the ones I see are from pop-ups, pop-unders, banners, links or redirected. I was just about to purchase some expired domain traffic but remembered reading that traffic cannot be redirected and all this traffic is easily detected by using the same referrer since they all direct it through there servers.***** Not trying to cheat the system, Not wanting clicks just unique ip’s and referrers from North America.** Have money to invest in my own servers or what ever it takes. Would love to contact the person that can help.

I’ve got a website crunchyanime.com that used to redirect to www.gameturf.net however i removed the redirect and it is still redirecting when you try to visit crunchyanime.com i asked the domain providers and they said this but i dont understand ..

The reason why you are being redirected to Dynadot is because your
website is cached. The easiest way to clear the cache is to clear the
files in your browser and then restart your computer. If that doesn’t fix
it, you might have to wait for the cache to expire. Everyone who
visited your site prior to you changing the Name Servers would also have to
clear their cache.

My old hosting and domain registration just expired a couple of weeks ago. I want to get a new host as the old one *****. However, when I check my old domain name with the new hosting it says that the domain name is registered under the old host even though it actually ends a couple of weeks ago. So, I’m not sure what to do as the new host wouldn’t let me register this domain name and when i log on to my old host it tells me that I have no domain name.

oh actually i mean my domain is also expired (i signed up for 1 yr the same as my hosting). I just have no clue how i can re-register because it should already expired but for some reason it is still under my old hosting.

I was actually using Godaddy and i wasn’t satisfied with it -_-. I think their website is like a maze
I could still logon to Godaddy (my ex hosting) but it tells me that I have no domain. :S

I want to purcahse a domain name but it is already in use. There is nothing on the website though. It re directs you to some other site so techinally, you can’t even pull up the domain I want to buy. The website it re-directs you too, also has nothing on it.

I checked under WhoIs but it’s registered privately under www.domainsbyproxy.com. So I can’t get any contact information.

The website it brings you too hasn’t been updated since 2007 same with the website I am interested in buying.

I found out it will expire in Jan 2009. How can I go about getting it?

I got a domain name with yahoo 5 years ago. Its set to expire on dec 3rd. I wanted to go in and fix the account it draws money out of to another account so it will be updated and accurate when they want to draw payment. I can not access the domain account. This was done 5 years ago and I do not know the yahoo email account it is under and ive spent 9 hours trying to get help via yahoo, searching and looking for old yahoo email addy and trying to revive old email addys in hopes to find the one that the domain name was with. Anyone have any HONEST answers ? Ive emailed the yahoo tech support that is listed with domain issues and it keeps coming back as undeliverable. I called the yahoo phone number it gives with the domain issues and all it does is also give a bogus email addy for tech support. Any ideas ?
I can not get to that because I can not access the first account that made the domain, I do NOT remember the yahoo email addy used to make it so there is no way to log in or access it.

I am having problems with my current UK website host. For around a year now, they haven’t been responding to any form of contact from me, and have now suspended my domain, and locked it to their own name, so it wont expire until 2009. My question is, is there any form of regulatory council that regulate website hosting in the uk?
The hosting company is www.pogga.co.uk – and they’re absolutely awful and unprofessional.
