The thing here is that was mine! but hijacked, On December 14 2007.
That day I entered mi site and appeared a Croatia flag along with a skull
I checked with my registrar and the hackers entered via my domain registrar! BTW It was godaddy
I wrote them but they didnt believed me, so, I ended witha hacked site and a hacked registrar acces, so these Croatia hackers changed the contact info to nosnese characters:

The domain name I am thinking of has both .co.uk and .com taken and so I am considering getting in contact with the owners and making an offer.

Currently .co.uk is redirecting to a myspace page that no longer exists and .com is used for poorly described african information so clearly neither is getting super hits! .com expires in early december but I suspect the owner will renew as it is updated regularly.

I wouldn’t want to reveal the name I am keen on at this stage but it is equally desirable as jockin.com/frontin.com etc. Please help!

Been waiting for a domain name to become available. On checking, it normally states the registrar on the registrar database. Now it says there are no matches but the domain name is still unavailable. It now has an option to check the Underlying Registry Data which states it has been registered until next year. The registrar is the domain name company (GoDaddy). Have I missed out? Thanks

OK, I’m having a “deet dee dee” moment…a few years back I’m pretty sure I registered a domain name for my currently defunct company. BUt now I want to start it back up again and thus want to use that same domain name. It’s been about 4 yrs since the site was up and running and I figured the domain name would have expired by now. So, what’s the cheapest way, and how long does it last? If I register it at one site, am I “locked in” to using that site to renew the registration when it expires?

And, am I locked into that site to host my content when I’m ready? In other words, can I choose to register my domain on one site and choose a completely different site to host the content?
