It says it is pending cancellation for another two weeks, so I can’t register my name with my new site until it expires. (I assume it will be available then?) If I go ahead and register my site as xxxxx.net instead of xxxxx.com, can I later purchase and add .com as well so they both are directed to my site? Will vistaprint “release” my domain name once my site is officially canceled?

I got a domain name with yahoo 5 years ago. Its set to expire on dec 3rd. I wanted to go in and fix the account it draws money out of to another account so it will be updated and accurate when they want to draw payment. I can not access the domain account. This was done 5 years ago and I do not know the yahoo email account it is under and ive spent 9 hours trying to get help via yahoo, searching and looking for old yahoo email addy and trying to revive old email addys in hopes to find the one that the domain name was with. I can not get to that because I can not access the first account that made the domain, I do NOT remember the yahoo email addy used to make it so there is no way to log in or access it.

I have some domain names which were registered via Yahoo Geocities. I was a geocities pro plan customer. However, I cancelled all services and terminated my yahoo account because of busy days related to my job.
After months, I want to re-setup my geocities pro membership with my existing domains but they say they are not able to reactivate my geocities plan with my domain names because I registered those domain names with my previous Yahoo ID but now I use another Yahoo ID. They said they could activate my previous Yahoo ID so I would be able to reactivate geocities pro.
