Since moving my computer back home my internet has been playing up only letting me view certain websites and not others that it would let me view beforehand such as facebook and my university email page and is becoming a hassle. I havn’t changed any of the settings on my comp since moving back and the websites work on the other computer in the house.
The error message reads:
Page Load Error
Address not found
www.facebook.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again.
The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.
* Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. “ww.mozilla.org” instead of
“www.mozilla.org”)
* Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
My default browser is firefox but the websites don’t work on internet explorer either with a similar error message displayed, What is opera? and how would that help?

do you use internet explorer or firefox. sometimes problems come in firefox too. try downloading opera and have a go and install all the adobe players
You could try other browsers such as Google Chrome or Apple Safari…..but the most likely culprits are either your router at home, or your internet service provider. I would start with whoever your internet service is with.
