Where online can I find websites that just had their domains expire or are about to expire? And how do I go about buying these websites?
Finally, where could I find their stats?

    You can, maybe, buy the domain name but that doesn’t mean you can have or buy the site. That remains the past owners property. Unless you get them to sell that to you. And like the other answer tells you where to start.
