For non-religious christians and/or creative minds: Need help with Web site name?

expired domain names
Michael asked:

I’ve been watching and waiting for this one domain to expire called “religionsucks.com” but I think its annual renewal is on auto-pilot and the owner doesn’t even seem to know it. I’m looking for ideas for a similar name.

The main concept of the site is to distinguish between true biblical christianity and religion. The secondary concept is to inform the reader that no religion gets people closer to God and that there is no one true “religion” (meaning people need Jesus Christ, not religion).

I’m hoping the site’s name will be similar to “religionsucks.com” and will have a shock value that compels people to check it out.

Thank you.
Ok, to answer some of your questions, a non-religious christian look like…well, like Jesus Christ. Most religious foke hated him because he didn’t follow their traditions.

Great answers some of you. Thanks.

there’s no such thing as a “non-religious Christian”. If he’s not religious, he’s an atheist.

    religiousrubbish.com

    or religionisrubbish.com

Most americans don’t use the word “rubbish”, so the name might still be open.

You’re casting judgments against other believers that do not hold water. There are equally passionate, pious people in all faiths. There are those who feel the presence of their deity every bit as intensely as you feel yours.

However, you could try godhatesreligion, religionstinks, pimpinggod, Biblethumper, or malodorousreligion.

You’ll probably get a lot of answers like the first one. You probably should have worded your question toward non-denominational Christians.

I feel “religionsucks.com” is not a good name if you are trying to convey a pro-christianity/anti-religion type of website (or anything else). I understand the “shock” value of such a name, but it leaves too big an opening for slamming, spamming and just plain meanness.

I don’t know that I would use something like this, but maybe you could try something like “religionhaters.com”. Sorry, not good at “shock value” phrases.

    You said:
(meaning people need Jesus Christ, not religion).
This sounds very religious to me…

Which Jesus do you serve? The one under the law or the one under Grace in Paul?

    Chk. this out:
