I would like to make an offer for the domain myname.me.uk. What would be an acceptable initial offer?

expired domain names
paul asked:

The domain name is 11 characters long: first name surname with no spaces. The first is paul, the surname is not particularly common. The person doesn’t seem to be using the website and the domain registration expires in October this year.

I own myname.co.uk. Please only answer if you have some idea as to what domain names will sell for. Any deliberately unhelpful answers will be reported as abuse.
Domain names are not expensive but I want to get this particular domain name which, at the moment is owned by someone else. If he does not renew the registration when it expires in October it will be a free for all. I am prepared to pay a reasonable amount to secure the domain name. If someone else gets there before me in October they’d be unlikely to part with it.

it depends on the number of hits the website gets as to the price….. if it is due to run out in october i would wait till then to get it though.

In that case you need to do some research on the domain to find out how many hits it gets etc either from the site itself or contact the guy the problem is though that what ever you pay him you will still be in the free for all in october.

Domain names are not expensive. I pay £20 for 2 years for both of mine.
